Jones Joinery logo

Jones Joinery is a sole proprietorship company based in Cambridge that designs and builds premium bespoke furniture, including kitchens, storage solutions, gates and doors. NRM was approached in March 2020 by the owner, Scott Jones, to deliver him a new website and new logo. The existing website did not reflect the high quality product and did not generate enough visits via organic search. The new HTTPS/SSL-enabled website and logo not only reflects the premium nature of the brand and product but is generating a pipeline of enquiries from customers. SEO work is ongoing to maintain the website high up in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).

Form the Future logoForm the Future is a social enterprise based in Cambridge which aims to empower young people in their career choices and prepare them for the future whilst enabling businesses to safeguard and build their talent pipeline. NRM is working with them to roll out the Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) Apprenticeship scheme in 2019 for which FtF is a delivery partner. Work involves producing printed and digital collateral, advertising, social media management, case study production, and PR.

Embedded with SodaStream UK for a three-month contract (June-Aug 2018), work involved planning a multi-channel brand re-fresh & re-positioning campaign, customer profiling, managing TV product placement, overseeing social media channel content, working with the PR agency on Influencer marketing and to gain media coverage for the #fightplastic campaign, producing content for the D2C website, and working with partner retailers including production of POS and store visits.

CB1 Community is the name of an initiative to build community cohesion and communication amongst all those living, working and enjoying this transformed district of Cambridge. NRM created the logo set, and built the website, the purpose of which is to enable residents to find key information such as service providers for their buildings, as well as to help bring the residential and working community closer together. Work continues with the client helping them to communicate the success of the initiative and drive website visits and build social media following.

SME Assembly 2016 android logoThe SME Assembly is the most significant event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. The conference takes place once a year during the European SME Week. My role in 2016 was to manage the PR & Media Relations for the SME Assembly 2016 that was held in Bratislava, Slovakia, in November. I was working as a consultant to LOW, a strategic communications consultancy based in Brussels, whose client is the European Commission.

I have also worked on the following brands and campaigns in concert with MCS since 2012:

Ad for Peter Grimes ENO performance

Altive Media were producing and distributing an English National Opera (ENO) performance of Benjamin Britten’s ‘Peter Grimes’ opera to be broadcast live on 23 February 2014 to approximately 250 cinemas around the UK. We were tasked to plan and implement a Local Area Marketing (LAM) campaign around each of the cinemas to drive traffic and thus maximise bookings for this one-off event.

Citizens Advice Bureau logoNorth East Suffolk Citizens Advice Bureau (NESCAB) had a website at a .co.uk domain but it was very dated, consisted of only 5 pages, and generally was limiting the organisation in helping its clients, the so-called ‘Panicked People’. We were tasked to create a brand new website on a new .org.uk domain.

Reel Cinema logoThe Reel Cinemas brand was very dated and uninspiring. They didn’t want a complete re-brand but they wanted a new ‘brand story’ and a new look. We were tasked to ‘re-skin’ their website to make it compelling and visually stunning to visitors.

Newmarket Retailers Association logo

The Newmarket Retailers’ Association exists to promote Retail in and around Newmarket. It did not have a logo nor even a website. We were asked to create a logo that would help to boost its profile and help continue to promote the interests of retailers.

During my marketing career, which began in 1994, I have also worked on the following brands:
